What To Look For When Seeking Recovery Treatment
True recovery from addiction is a multi-faceted process. In a holistic approach to addiction treatment, the entire person is treated, mind, body, and spirit. Factors that would otherwise be ignored such as nutrition and physical health are also included to promote clean living in all aspects of life. A personalized meal plan and yoga therapy can play a large role in successful addiction recovery. Summit Estate Recovery Center is located on 23 acres of natural gardens, orchards, and lawns and is the ideal location for focusing on recovering from addiction. We have a holistic approach to addiction treatment in a luxury setting that allows clients to be comfortable and relaxed. Our research has shown that this approach is highly successful. We provide a number of amenities to support the rehabilitation of our clients including:
- Personalized meal plans – Fresh, nutritious, gourmet meals are prepared daily by our in-house chef. Nutrition plays a huge role in overall health. The food we consume has a direct effect on the brain’s chemistry and how a person feels overall. By providing the right types of nutrition, our clients’ brains are able to return to normal levels. Additionally, well balanced meals increase energy and can reduce cravings. We take the time to understand each person’s unique nutritional needs and to provide meals that support those needs.
- Yoga therapy – Our yoga studio provides an excellent space for yoga therapy. Led by an instructor with decades of experience and a focus on addiction treatment, yoga provides a way to physically deal with stress. Additionally, yoga may be used in tandem with meditation to help clear the mind and mentally center oneself. Yoga can be used during and after treatment to address cravings and to get through tough situations. Additionally, yoga provides a sober activity that can be done as a form of community.
By addressing all of our clients’ needs we are able to best prepare them for life after treatment and lifelong sobriety. Find out more about our recovery center by speaking with one of our admissions counselors. Please complete the form on this site or call 800-701-6997. Thank you.
